Kalinga Bathroom
This guest bathroom redesign brings a fresh, relaxed feel to a heritage Queenslander, balancing functionality with a warm, country-coastal aesthetic. A new partition wall separates the shower/bath space and the modern timber veneer vanity. The made-you-look wallpaper adds artful character, while zoning the space to feel more like a powder room than a traditional bathroom.
Airflow and light were key considerations, achieved with a new louvre window and a carefully positioned partition that allows light to circulate. Gloss wall tiles and stone-look porcelain floors reflect the home’s relaxed elegance, while natural textures like handmade ceramics and oak finishes add warmth. The result is a truly unique space that feels equally inviting and functional for guests to enjoy.
