Bardon Bathroom

This clever transformation of a 1960s Bardon duplex-turned-family-home reimagines a dated row of two bathrooms, two toilets and an office. The new layout introduces two thoughtfully designed bathrooms, a private powder room and a more integrated home office, all while honouring the home’s mid-century aesthetic. Natural light and airflow were a priority, achieved through new louvre and high windows, as well as LED skylights in the hallway. A linen cupboard was also included, freeing up space in the main living areas and improving overall flow.

Terrazzo-look kit-kat tiles and walnut details nod to the original finishes, while green vanities in both bathrooms bring a fresh yet era-appropriate palette. Curved details, such as the rounded shower corner soften the layout and add a beautiful point of difference. Generous walk-in showers, custom cabinetry and smart storage elevate the daily functionality of this family home, making it a joy to come home to.
